Customized Medical Services throughout Israel

Our History

Baruch U’Marpeh was founded in 1992 by Rabbi David Schlesinger in memory of his father R’ Baruch Schlesinger of blessed memory in order to ensure that every person in Israel would receive timely medical care that he needs and deserves. Rabbi Schlesinger noticed the gaping holes in the system and made it his business to fill those gaps and save lives. From then until today, Baruch U’Marpeh has helped tens of thousands of people improve their quality of life and has saved countless lives.

What we do

Baruch U’Marpeh provides hard-to-acquire medical devices not available for loan at organizations that offer standardized medical apparatus. We are the address that hospitals, individuals, social workers as well as schools for children with severe handicaps turn when no options are available through the regular channels. We buy equipment that saves the lives or promotes the function of chronically or deathly ill children in agonizing pain – but first we check if the government will pay its share and then we cover the balance.
